Last weekend I drove to Seattle to see the dollhouse show. It was held at the Seattle Center Northwest Rooms. It was nice to see quite a bit of quarter scale, although I managed to confuse myself over what I needed to get and didn't end up buying that much. Next time, I'll make a list. My purchases: wallpaper and cupcakes in 1:48 from Ruth Stewart, planters and a fruit lattice pie in 1:48 from Pearce Miniatures, rugs and a gothic table kit (not pictured) from My Sister's Minis, and bird feeder in 1:12 from Tiny Timbers. |

Instead of finishing off the Yule Tide (which would make sense) I've mixed things up a bit by starting on Jolley's Emporium. I'll blame it all on the online show, A Mini Miniature Show, when I went a bit crazy and bought from a few different dealers. The bottom floor of Jolley's will have a bakery / tearoom and you can see some of the things I've bought so far. The bakery rack and countertop display are from Petworth Miniatures. The cakes are from Pauline's Minis (here's her blog), Alison Brand (everything on the check square, here's her etsy shop), and Taffy & Me Creations (love cake on the top shelf of the rack, lefthand side).
