Outside Seattle, there is the Dollhouse Cottage. It looks like they hold some interesting workshops there but the store itself didn't really impress me. Three items I did get excited about were quite pricey so I didn't buy them. I'll stick to the stores closer to me with their larger selections. For dollhouse supplies, the mini-holiday wasn't very successful.
Below, a quarter scale kit Tiny Townhouse from Sue Herber. I was a bit overwhelmed when I opened it up and looked at the instructions but we'll see how it goes. I'm questioning if this is a good kit to test out quarter scale with, or if I should attempt something a bit more simple first. In any case, I'll be focusing more on the birdcage before moving to the smaller scale. Well, that's the current plan. Next time I'll have to put something like a ruler or penny beside the parts so you can see how small they are.
