Here's me trying out a dremel on a scrap piece of MDF. Notice the fine motor skills. Luckily, it's scrap.
This is an old picture from a few weekends ago (guess I have been a blog slacker). After this, it was concluded that creating the windows on the birdcage with the dremel may not be the best idea. So what I ended up doing was drilling a hole inside the window outline and using a coping saw to cut out the shape. I have been using the dremel to sand/finish them, though. Give me enough time, I could overcome my fear of power tools. Small ones, at least. It doesn't even look like I'm holding the dremel properly...but maybe I'll blame that on the camera angle.
